Service Technician
Position Summary
A HVAC Service Technician is responsible for setting up, repairing, diagnosis, trouble shooting and the maintenance of the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for an organization or its customers. The company provides opportunities for continual training and gaining additional experience in the industry.
Qualifications / Duties / Responsibilities
• Responsible for servicing and repairing all types of HVAC equipment
• Responsible for reading blueprints in order to diagnosis, troubleshoot, analyze and locate the malfunction on the HVAC Unit
• Be able to replace the defective or worn parts and then make any necessary adjustments
• Provide suggestions for increased energy efficiency and setting controls to determine that a system is working properly
• Install and / or assist in the installation of HVAC equipment when needed
• Responsible for meeting the customer’s needs and providing excellent positive customer service
• Responsible for meeting quarterly goals
Skills & Experience
• Customer focused to provide positive experiences
• Minimum (2) years of service experience in the HVAC industry
• CFC/EPA Certificate required
• NATE Certified is preferred but not required
• Need to have a good driving record, with no more than 2 points on your license
• Ability to have good communication skills used for both the customer and co-workers
• Must be Self-motivated and be able to work under minimal supervision
• Must be a team member exhibiting a positive attitude and work ethic
• Willing to cross train others
• Must be flexible with work hours, will be responsible to be part of an On Call rotation
